This committee was set up in September 2004 in collaboration with the training departments of Iranian Mine and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), Iranian Mineral Producing and Supplying Company (IMPASCO), and Ministry of Industries and Mines as well as a number of university professors from mining disciplines. The first meeting of Training Committee was held on September 25, 2004 at Iran Mine House headquarters with a number of attendees from the above-mentioned organizations and university scholars. In parallel with the training programs, IMIDRO has presented a 20-item list on the training objectives. Accordingly, a number of workshops and training courses have been conducted in various provinces for the employees of regional mining directorates as well as private firms. It is agreed that Training Committee of the Iran Mine House would carry out parts of the training at provincial levels on the following subjects:

Mining Act (at managerial and clerical levels)
Insurance procedures for mining companies and their employees
World trade and competition in and out of the country
